Zhenhu Temple’s 2027 Wangye Boat Festival anniversary preparations

Zhenhu Temple in Sucuo, Anding District, Tainan, is preparing for the 60th anniversary of its 2027 Wangye Boat Festival by making 60 miniature hinoki king boats for believers. Mayor Huang Wei-che visited the temple to worship and pray for peace, favorable weather, and public safety, and received one of the boats. The temple said registration for festival ritual roles has drawn participation from Taiwanese communities in the United States, Japan, and Vietnam.
